How do I know this is a legitimate NZ Lottery?

In NZ lotteries of this size need a licence from the Department of Internal Affairs. Our licence has been granted and is licence number LT090000224

Can I Purchase a ticket if I’m not a NZ citizen?

You can purchase tickets and win prizes regardless of your visa status. Prizes are delivered anywhere in NZ, cash prizes are paid into the winners NZ bank account once ID has been confirmed.

How much of this money goes to Blind Low Vision NZ?

All ticket and donation money received goes directly to Blind Low Vision NZ and will be used towards the authorised purpose for this lottery – To provide advice, information, advocacy and member services to blind, visually impaired and deafblind New Zealanders.

Do you get in touch with all winners, and how do they get their prize?

We do get in touch with all winners (either by email or phone) and we ensure we deliver all prizes (anywhere within NZ) to our lucky winners.

How does the draw happen and can I come along?

The lottery draw is open to all members of the public and will take place at; Unit C, 19 Universal Drive, Henderson, Auckland at 11:30am 28:02:2023 in accordance with Rule 6 (14) of the Gambling Act (Lottery) Game Rules 2004. The draw will be conducted as a marble draw.

How do I find the lottery results?

When does the lottery close?

The lottery closes at midnight on the 24 Feb 2023. We allow a couple of days to prepare for the draw, then prepare the results. Once published all winners are contacted directly.

Do I get a receipt for my ticket purchase?

Receipts will be issued for donations. A ticket letter is issued for your ticket purchase and this is not deemed as a charitable donation in NZ.

Can I change my prize for cash?

If you are one of our lucky winners, you get to choose which you would prefer – the prize or the cash! When we get in touch with each winner we will ask you to nominate your preference at that time.

When should I receive my tickets

You should recieve your tickets via email within 2-3 business days after your order.

If you can't find your tickets check your promotional and spam folders, and add us to your address book.

Who can't hold a ticket in this lottery?

By law, the only people barred from buying tickets are the official lottery organiser and the society in which the licence was granted (Blind Low Vision NZ).
